Mr. Austin joined Padfield & Stout, LLP in 2019 focusing on creditor’s rights, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Austin practiced at a firm in El Paso, Texas representing clients in a wide array of business disputes as well as bankruptcy matters.
Education:
Mr. Austin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Abilene Christian University cum laude. While at ACU, he was a McNair Scholar and also served as Executive Treasurer of Students’ Association.
Mr. Austin received his Doctor or Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law cum laude. While in law school, he was the Vice-Chair of Appellate Advocacy for the Board of Barristers and a member of the Business & Bankruptcy Law Journal. Mr. Austin also received the Fortney Award for Ethics during law school.
