Biography

John E. Johnson is Of Counsel for the firm and offices in Dallas. For the last fourteen years, Mr. Johnson has practiced law emphasizing monetary and collateral loss-mitigation. He has experience with legal-services involving sales, leasing, payments, secured-lending, secured financial-services, and insurance; as well as related fields such as sequestration/replevy, deceptive-trade, consumer-financial regulations, credit-reporting, governmental forfeitures and seizures, and consumer/military law. Mr. Johnson has counseled and litigated such matters in bankruptcy and state and federal civil-law courts, as well as in mediations and arbitrations. He has extensive experience representing real and personal property lenders and lessors, motor-vehicle dealers and financiers, and businesses with open accounts. Mr. Johnson also has experience with probate matters and basic oil and gas and land-use issues.
