Joseph Austin



Mr. Austin joined Padfield & Stout, LLP in 2019 focusing on creditor’s rights, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Austin practiced at a firm in El Paso, Texas representing clients in a wide array of business disputes as well as bankruptcy matters.

  • While in law school, he was the Vice-Chair of Appellate Advocacy for the Board of Barristers and a member of the Business & Bankruptcy Law Journal. Mr. Austin also received the Fortney Award for Ethics during law school.
  • At ACU, he was a McNair Scholar and also served as Executive Treasurer of Students’ Association.
