Experience:

Richard W. Wiseman focuses his practice on litigation in the areas of construction law, contracts and business, eminent domain, and real estate development.  He is a Sustaining Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and a Charter Fellow of the Tarrant County Bar Foundation.  Mr. Wiseman was selected as the 2017 DFW Lawyer of the Year in Eminent Domain by The Best Lawyers in America.  He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America (2008-2016); listed as a Texas “Super Lawyer” by Thomson Reuters (2004-2016); as an Elite 100 Attorney of Excellence by the Fort Worth Business Press (2002-2016); Top Attorney in Tarrant County by Fort Worth Texas Magazine (2002-2016); and named as a Power Attorney (1of 12), Fort Worth Business Press (2012).

Education:

Mr. Wiseman received his J.D. degree from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin in 1976, and his B.B.A. cum laude from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas in 1973 where he played football on athletic scholarship.

 

Courts Admitted:

Mr. Wiseman is admitted to practice before the Texas Supreme Court, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
