Biography

Kelsey Linendoll joined Padfield & Stout, LLP in 2020 and is committed to assisting the firm’s expansive civil litigation practice and serving the firm’s clients. Ms. Linendoll focuses her practice on representation of secured creditors, as well as a regular practice in appellate law, commercial litigation, and bankruptcy litigation.

Experience & Highlights

  • Presented oral argument in front of the Fort Worth Court of Appeals and obtained a favorable reversal and opinion upholding Texas Court’s enforcement of foreign judgments under the Uniform Enforcement of Foreign Judgments Act.
  • Regularly represents and advises one of the nation’s largest floorplan financing companies in enforcing and collecting their judgments throughout the United States.
  • Prevailed on the appeal of a bill of review rendered in favor of a financial institution against debtors disclaiming liability.
  • Prevailed on the appeal of a judgment rendered in favor of a floorplan financing company against debtors disclaiming liability.
  • Obtained a judgment in federal court in favor of two of the nation’s largest floorplan financing companies for a combined total of over $1.35 million.
  • Obtained a nondischargeable judgment pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 523 in various commercial fraud actions.
  • Judicial Intern for the Honorable United States District Judge Alan D. Albright in the Western District of Texas, Waco Division.
