Biography

Mr. Arisco joined the firm in 2008 and since that time has engaged in an extensive pre-trial motion practice. In addition, he has an active motion and trial docket and typically makes 6 to 10 court appearances each week.

While at Texas A&M University, he worked as a project engineering co-op for Elk Corporation . He was also a member of the Pi Tau Sigma Honors Society. While in law school, he was a traveling member of the University of Houston mock trial team and he interned for the 333rd and 11th judicial district courts.

  • Negotiated a $375,000.00 net recovery in a contract dispute in the oil and gas fabrication business at mediation.
  • Obtained favorable appellate court ruling in a disputed foreign judgment domestication case resulting in a net recovery for the client in the amount of $63,458.
  • Negotiated settlement in federal contract dispute regarding priority of security interests in motor vehicle inventory and obtained $229,110.
  • Negotiated settlement on breach of contract, fraud, and DTPA case involving damage to oil and gas equipment and wellbore, resulting in a net recovery to the client of $100,000.
  • Negotiated settlement on breach of contract in construction dispute, resulting in net recovery to the client of $27.339.
  • Successfully argued on appeal the enforcement of a disputed forum selection clause related to vehicle financing.
  • Represent creditors, including banks, finance companies, and leasing companies, in Chapter 7, Chapter 9, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases.
  • File and obtain non-dischargeability judgments in bankruptcy court in commercial fraud cases involving vehicle floor plan financing.
  • Assist mortgage companies as creditors in bankruptcy court by filing proofs of claim, seeking relief from the automatic stay, and objecting to unfavorable plan treatment in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 cases.
  • Experienced in handling forcible detainer cases and coordinating with the appropriate authorities to successfully execute a writ of possession and secure possession for the client.
